Hey! I have been working on the website for a bit now,
the so called "website myth" has been confirmed lol so!
i want you all to let me know what type of things you
would like to see in the new BHA website, so i know
what i can throw in or make space for i have a general
idea created, there is a layout..but i didn't want to leave
you guys out..so please do tell me what you would like to
see on the site..Thank You!..

DECEMBER BHA DESIGN CONTEST!

The theme for this months design competition will be the following...

A Poor Christmas

So take this as you will and provide us with your best unedited screenshot of one room in your house designed in this theme. Spliced screenshots of the entire room are welcome (and preferred). If you need help on making a spliced screenshot feel free to contact me or any other BHA Staff member (List can be found on the first post on the first page).

December Design Competition Prizes:

1st Place - Jukebox, (Grand Prize Package) Jukebox (20,000 Coins), Admiral Jacket (15,000 Coins), 5 GMB's (2,500 Coins) (37,500 Coins Total)

2nd Place - (Scholarly Package) Luxurious Armchair (3,000 Coins), Biggest Brain Bust (1,500 Coins), Globe (700 Coins), School Portrait (300 Coins), Nine Square-Shelving (1,000 Coins), Leather Executive Chair (625 Coins), Loud Speaker (3000 Coins) (10,125 Coins Total!!!)

Entries are accepted from members of BHA only! If you would like to apply to be a BHA member please read the first post on the first page to see if you qualify.

Here are the official rules for this contest...

1. All entries must somehow embody the theme listed above.
2. You may only enter one screenshot into this contest, but feel free to resubmit your entries at any time, as long as it fits into the contest deadline.
3. This contest ends Midnight (CST) on December 31st 2008!
4. Luxury items are not a necessity into being considered a frontrunner in this or any BHA Contest.
5. Every person who enters is required to have a house inspection by a member of the BHA Staff. This is mandatory!

Well, that is pretty much it, you may submit your entries anytime between now and the deadline listed above. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask! All members of the BHA Staff are here to ensure that everyone is having fun, and that all members can participate. Thank you, and happy designing!

How 2 Make A Spliced Screenshot

1) Go to the room where you are going to be taking the screenshot.
2) Place your character all the way to the right of the room.
3) Then open your Chest and scroll all the way over to the left.
4) Press the Prnt Scrn (Print Screen) Key on your keyboard.
5) Open up MS Paint (or any other image editing software you have).
6) Press 'Ctrl' and 'V' to paste the image. Or go to edit and select paste there.
7) Now you will have a screenshot of the whole left side of your room and your browser and probably your toolbar and such (Example 1). Just right click and 'Select All' and drag the image towards the upper left until it looks like this (Example 2).
8) Now all you have to do is crop the image so just the Pet Society "window" is in view. (To help you out the whole size of the Pet Society window is 640 (Width) by 420 (Height))
9) Now move your pet to the left side of the room, and repeat the steps above in a seperate MS Paint (or other) executable. So, you will have 2 MS Paints open, one with the left side of your room, and the other with the right.
10) Now all you have to do is select all of the right side of the room, and copy it (Ctrl + 'C'). Then go to the Paint where your left side of the room is and go up to Image near the menu. Click on Attributes. Change the width to 1280 and then go and paste the image of the right side of your room.
11) Arrange it the best you can so that the right side overlaps the left side until you are happy with the arrangement.

12) Save to your computer, and upload. Enjoy!

General Rules:
There are some basic rules that must be followed in order
to participate in the monthly BHA competitions.
And they are as follows...

1. You must have over 50 posts in the Pet Society forums.
This is to show not only your dedication to the community
here, but also that you are a contributing member to it.

2. You must have a pet level of over 15. This rule is in place because
a lot of times people will add applications and try them out for a few
(maybe even gain some levels quickly and impressively) and then
become bored with it, and either delete the application, or just not
bother to login and play it.

3. You must keep yourself in good standing in the community.
We at BHA always show goodwill towards the creatures and pets
of our community, and as such we would like you to do the same.
Any person found scamming other players, being unnecessarily
rude or offensive to another player, or any person found just being
a plain ol' rotten apple will be removed from the good standings of
the BHA. No exceptions!

4. All competitions are based off of UNEDITED screenshots, and
"home tours" which shall be administered by the active members
of the BHA Staff. Due to certain circumstances, after a tour of your
home, some BHA members will delete you from their friends.
Please, do not be offended by this as some of us like to keep our
friends list to a maximum, and or to just certain people/friends.

5. All voting for the competitions will take place after any given
months competition has closed, and will be announced within
ONE week time of the closing of that months competition.

6. All voting will be done by BHA staff, this is to prevent outside
influence from effecting the outcome of any competition.

How To Participate:
To join the BHA post in this thread that you would like to join, please leave your FULL NAME, PET NAME, and PAW POINTS. This will help us greatly in the future, and in keeping this as speedy as a process as possible (as many participants are anticipated). Also, please do not ask BHA staff to give you special privileges or favor just because you know them. We are trying to keep this as fair as possible to all involved. One more thing, if you at any time would like to quit the BHA just leave a private message with me or any other BHA member and we will remove you from our list.
